Bačina lakes consist of 7 lakes and it’s one of the rare places where you can escape the crowds during the high season in Dalmatia. In this tour, we’ll paddle through jungle – like canals, near water lily fields and enjoy the natural life of Bačina lakes.

The Narona Archaeological Museum is located in Vid, a place in the immediate vicinity of Metković, and was built over the Augusteum, a temple dedicated to the divine Augustus. The most representative examples of long-standing archaeological finds are exhibited in the museum’s permanent exhibition. In total, about 900 finds (statues, ceramics, jewelry, glass, money…) from different locations in Narona, dating from the end of the 3rd century BC Kr. (maknit Kr.) until the 15th century AD are on display.

By welcoming the tourists at the terrace of Đuđa and Mate restaurant, a unique experience of photosafari by traditional Neretva boat begins. Hosts serve homemade brandy with seasonal fruit. During the ride in the boat on the river Norin to the ranch restaurant homemade cheese, prosciutto and baked bread are served. After those activities the guests return to the restaurant for the main course with traditional specialties.

The Neretva River has formed a delta with a unique appearance that covers an area of about 20,000 acres. The delta is a favorite area for the local population, especially in the summer months when they come to look for refreshment. It is a great place for a family because the water is not deep, and the shallow area extends for about half a kilometer.
