Private tour to Mostar and Kravice waterfalls

The old city of Mostar is famous for outstanding natural beauty, Ottoman architecture, and Old Bridge (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Mostar is not a big city, so you will be able to explore it on foot and visit all the main sights. It is a city that was heavily bombed during the Homeland War, and its historic core was significantly damaged. The restoration process began in 1995, after the war, but the scars are still visible today. Once a city with so much diversity, today it is divided into two parts, the western Croatian part and the eastern Bosniak part. Here are a few sights that you absolutely should not miss while visiting Mostar.

The Old Bridge  is protected by UNESCO and is definitely the most popular sight in Mostar. It is located in the heart of the city, which is also under the protection of UNESCO. The original bridge was built by the Turks in 1566, but it was destroyed in the war in 1993. The bridge was renovated in 2004, and original materials were mostly used. It is located on the Neretva River and even in its renovated form represents Islamic architecture together with its two fortified towers, Halebija and Tara.

The Koski Mehmed Pasha  Mosque was built in 1619 and is located in the oldest part of Mostar, next to the Neretva River. This stunning sight of Ottoman architecture was also destroyed during the war, but it was not completely destroyed and was eventually rebuilt. The mosque houses an extraordinary collection of writings from the Koran and contains a carpet donated by the Austrian monarch Franz Joseph I. With the purchase of cheap tickets, you can climb the minaret for a spectacular view of the city.

After visiting Mostar, we go swimming under the spectacular Kravice waterfall on the Trebižat river.

The price includes traditional lunch (three meat meals andvegetarian option) and tickets for Kravice waterfalls.

The price of a full-day private tour is on request, depending on the number of passengers.
